Vanessa Hudgens' largest role among teenage audiences has been starring in the Disney Channel movie High School Musical, staring as the shy, intelligent student Gabriella Montez. Hudgens was born in Salinas, California, Vanessa is a talented beauty and she comes from an international mixture of Irish Native American by her father and Filipino, Spanish, Chinese descent by her mother.
