"Life Fantastic" is the follow up album to Rabbit Habits (2008), an album which inspired Paste magazine to proclaim of the band: "They are what rock n roll is meant to be and, frankly, what most rock bands have forgotten altogether: these songs are fun." Working for the first time with producer Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes), Man Man have brought along the fierce energy of their renowned live shows while finding a new melodic voice on songs like "Oh, La Brea" with its Harry Nilsson music hall touches, or "Life Fantastic" loping along to a classic David Bowie piano vamp. Expanding their palette while keeping the found instruments (typewriter bell, anyone?), Man Man continue to evolve into an entirely new form of propulsive pop music.

Today’s Apple Event in Cupertino, California saw the launch of the new iPhone 6, Apple’s digital wallet, and iWatch. The real headliner, however, came at the end when U2 appeared as a special guest. After debuting a new song live, the band announced that their latest album, Songs of Innocence, is being released for free on iTunes starting today. Yes, they simultaneously pulled a Beyoncé and Radiohead.
Available to all of Apple’s 500 million customers free of charge, it marks the biggest album release of all time. Songs of Innocence will remain exclusive to Apple through October.
According to Rolling Stone, Innocence was primarily produced by Danger Mouse with additional help from Joshua Tree collaborator Flood. In an interview, Bono said the group listened to music they loved in the Seventies, referencing David Bowie, Joy Division, and The Ramones. In fact, the lead track is called “The Miracle (of Joey Ramone)”. Another track, “This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now”, is a tribute to The Clash. Meanwhile, Lykke Li appears on the track “The Troubles”.
A physical release for the record is set for October 13th. A deluxe edition includes acoustic session of songs from the album and four additional tracks: “Lucifer’s Hands”, “The Crystal Ballroom”, “The Troubles (Alternative version)” and “Sleep Like a Baby Tonight (Alternative Perspective Mix by Tchad Blake)”. A double white-vinyl LP will also be available.

The Manchester-bred band has built its reputation here and overseas on the strength of its rollicking live shows as well as its self-titled 2013 debut album, which entered the UK album chart at No. 1. It has done well over half a million in sales and stream album equivalents, fueled by the success of the gold-certified single Chocolate. October 2015 s Love Me marked the first single to be released from The 1975 s upcoming new album I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it - which is due from Dirty Hit / Interscope Records on February 26, 2016. The 1975, which is vocalist / producer Matthew Healy, drummer / producer George Daniel, guitarist Adam Hann and bassist Ross MacDonald, have performed on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Stranger Things is the sound of a band firing on all cylinders, finally comfortable in their own skin and in control of their own vision. 乐队的发展可说是辉煌伴随鲁莽，从一开始，他们就带着甩不掉的楞劲儿和傻气，不顾一切地向前冲，一会儿成为大家追捧的中心，瞬间又哗啦啦地沦为众矢之地。这次他们大剌剌地抛出“心要野”这个名字，越来越像一个脱掉现代衣装的原始人。
CBD深处一间20平米的房间，被称做“胶囊公司”，是猛犸象、青春泡沫、大白马、漫天星光、月亮、太空船这一切幻想的诞生地。4位“公司职员”，各自在现实生活里都是千万都市人中的普通一员，彼此过着平行世界般的生活，同时怀揣超越现实的梦。付菡平时除了写歌也为乐队操刀视觉设计，或背着相机拍摄作品；曹璞作为一名独立建筑师，奔波于自己的事务所与工地之间；王老师终日与牛津辞典为伴，给语言做手术；小武与各种声音打交道，录制每一条只有他自己才分辨得出完美与否的声响，也作为混音师为其他乐队混音。胶囊公司是提炼幻想的实验室，4人在此将现实加工成幻梦，每周三次，从不停顿。
《心要野》用了鲨鱼近4年时间，他们管这张专辑叫“后海冲浪手的大冒险”。4年里，乐队在后海鸭子的嘲笑声中完成了一次又一次冒险：跑去火焰山，飞去喜马拉雅，开启20个氧气瓶完成表演。一度付菡迷失在墨西哥丛林，曹璞到印度认了一群阿三兄弟；小武终日睡在帆船发动机盖子旁，航行至菲律宾终成野人；王老师则不知去了什么地方音信全无，只给乐队公邮发回几声机器人声响的问候……
所幸，20平米的胶囊公司记录了这一切。他们在里面鼓捣着各种奇怪设备，请来城市角落里各种奇怪的音乐家：天才的电子音乐人Soulspeak，用曲线乱画记谱的萨克斯风手高太行，名叫Jesus的大号手，还有60多岁的西塔琴老爷子姚策老师，就连付菡的妈妈也被硬拉进来弹奏钢琴……他们终日发出吱吱呀呀的噪音，与隔壁的邻居们早已反目成仇，而鲨鱼最终愣是邀请他们为专辑录了群众和声。混乱、浪漫、真诚、傻、愣、些许不靠谱，在这个越来越快愈发浮躁近乎崩溃的世界里，一切又照着鲨鱼们惯有的方式发生了。
他们第一张专辑的灵感来源于过去，第二张专辑充满对未来的猛烈憧憬，而这张专辑是后海大鲨鱼三部曲的最终篇，回到现在，追索乐队每个人跟自己以及这个世界如何相处的过程。它打开知觉和想象力的大门，以一群叫做“后海冲浪手”的傻帽儿为主人公，讲述他们骑一匹梦马走过雪山，脱去衣服投奔怒海，穿过宇宙中心，又回到这个信息爆炸的城市，继续做他们的都市野人。歌与歌之间有着鲨鱼们精心设计的关联，需要听者去发现线索，连成一个完整的冒险故事。
对于专辑所要表达的主题，付菡写道：“心要野？每个人有自己的答案，对我来说是那些勇敢地活在当下，突破规则限制去创造的人。”世人皆称：“心不自由，无处不是牢笼”，可“自由”是宏大无解歧义丛生的命题。冲浪手们避开概念的陷阱，用“心要野”这个简短有力的祈使句焕发身体中的原力，去行动，去创造。
专辑中那首《时间之间》唱道：“没有什么永远。”但至少现在他们可以唱一首快乐的歌。摇滚乐所宣讲的价值观是不是骗人的不得而知，但无论身处城市，还是拥抱自然，只要心怀野望，就能收获潇洒无畏的旅程。
最后，鲨鱼们说：“我们很幸运，人的一生里很少能有人这样陪伴你走过这么多美丽的地方，经历这些精彩的故事。这张专辑记录了我们很重要的时光，把它送给我们爱的人。”

少年不識愁滋味，為賦新詞強說愁。好似灑脫卻充滿框架，好似追求、期盼什麼卻只是不斷印證自己的可笑一般。其實就是醜奴兒自己心裡的對話與拉扯，希望能藉由歌詞的意境，讓悲傷的人看見自己的模樣，在片刻抒發後，認清自我。總體而言，文字創作的方面，我們希望以文字作為一面鏡子反面對照自我，也許表面較為負面但期盼人們依舊能意識到作為一個「人」不該遺忘的本質。

Tell Me I'm Pretty is the upcoming fourth studio album by American rock band Cage the Elephant. It is set to be released on December 18, 2015, and was announced online on October 5, 2015. The album was recorded in the spring of 2015 at Easy Eye Sound in Nashville, Tennessee. Vocalist Matt Schultz stated: "With this record, we wanted to be more transparent. We wanted to capture the sentiment of each song, and whatever emotional response it provoked, to be really honest to that."
On October 29, 2015, the band released the first single from the album, "Mess Around", accompanied by a music video which was created using footage from the 1902 film A Trip to the Moon and other films by Georges Méliès. Two other songs, "Trouble" and "Too Late to Say Goodbye," were made available for download before the album's release.
