南瓜先生2 九龙城寨》是南瓜先生系列作品的续作。以南瓜头形象的小人物为主人公，讲述一些曾经居住在香港贫民窟九龙城寨的人和他们的故事。背景采用了真实香港历史场景的美术复原,对香港电影故事的致敬和拓展。
九龙城寨是香港殖民时代的一座围城，内里有蛛网般的道路，破败密集的高耸楼宇，压迫感的霓虹招牌，不见天日的狭窄暗巷，觉上的独特性，麻雀虽小五脏俱全，一个人间地狱，一个乌托邦。游戏内用缆车、双层巴士，铛铛车等香港传统的交通工具衔接起各个游戏章节，让玩家能体会到一种观看城寨版《清明上河图》的感觉。
九龙城寨，和龙有关，所以在这个游戏内把龙作为整个游戏的一个关键点，既奇幻又符合中国的文化感受。作为一个典型的AVG作品，玩家将在九龙城寨内通过解开一个个场景内的谜题，将故事一步步往前推进，帮助南瓜先生破解天龙阵，走出这座杂乱无序的九龙城寨。
而在这一段辛苦的旅途中，玩家能逐渐意识到，虽然这地方充满了肮脏和丑陋，但是居住在里面的绝大多数人都在一直向往着外面世界的光明与伟大。
