本片根据乌青的小说《唯有爬山可以阻止我对自己举起枪》改编。我们很难讲述它的剧情，也许只有一句话：就是一个男人去爬山。他的一生完全呈现在这次脱离人群的爬山过程中：孤独、无聊、沮丧、幻想、对爱情的渴望、失败、以及绝望。影片始终笼罩着与现实的间离感，当主人公在山路上一次又一次的走过，他所做的所看到的和所遇到的，仿佛更像是一个迷惑而无奈的荒谬之梦。

影片呈现了一个来自浙江省的僵尸在泰国各地的诡异游荡。
《JULIDA九里达》是诗人乌青继《爬山小说》（2008）和《坏诗人》（2010）之后的第三部电影作品，依然是一部极端个人风格化的作者电影，比起前作本片更突出了人物情绪化的游离状态和强烈的迷幻氛围，全片在泰国拍摄，由音乐人诗人张所思主演并制作配乐。
《JULIDA九里达》改编自乌青小说《万有坏坏力》部分章节，继承了原著的后现代形态，难以捉摸的长镜头，是是而非的叙述，分裂的人格关系，现实与幻觉以及时空的错乱迷离，构成了这部长达170分钟的“飞片”。

This is a range of documentaries and feature films between the type of critical films, known as China's "récit film" wave of the Foundation work.
