Agalloch的作品一直让我充满着期待，而这次对我来说无疑是个莫大的惊喜。Agalloch在他们早期的作品中就有不少的民谣元素，而在这张EP中他们开始了更加民谣化的风格尝试，使他们的音乐听起来更加干净和纯粹。整张专辑全长三十分钟左右，由原声吉它和各种采样构成，其实也不难听出来依然有前几张作品的影子，音乐中却依然延续着Agalloch黑暗的本质。我觉得Agalloch的这次改变是向更纯粹黑暗本质的一次回归，他们给我的永远是一种触及心灵的黑暗。(私人音乐杂志

Agalloch将于11月23日在Profound Lore厂牌下发行第四张全长专辑《Marrow Of The Spirit》，新专风格与之前作品大大不同，按Agalloch自己的话说：新专最阴暗、冷漠，极其浓厚化、细节化、激进化，是Agalloch迄今为止最完美的一张专辑。”大爱的灵团Agalloch终于携最新大作回归了，不夸张的说，这张专辑已已经让我苦等了整整三四年之久了。乐团自2006年发行《Ashes Against the Grain》之后，其间一直都没有发行正式的全长专辑，不过炒剩饭的精选再版倒是出了不发，所以让我一直都在苦苦期盼他们的全新作品。事实上乐团在08年初还发行过一张民谣EP作品，其实那张作品我也十分的喜爱，但终究只能算是一张他们的实验之作，并不能代表他们的完整水准和整体风格。这张新专原定发行日期是本月23号，但是早在本月初便已经提前泄露了，不过让我也终于如愿以偿能提前膜拜他们的新作了
