a review of 焚尸人

HOOPTOBER ORIGINS 2.0 NIGHT SIXTEEN: Both funnier and darker than I imagined going in, and feels amazingly modern in its approach compared to other films from the same time. It's definitely the sort of movie that could only have been made in the exact time and place where it was, but there's also something about how it handles its main characters' POV that feels like something that could have been made 20-30 years later.
