HOOPTOBER ORIGINS 2.0 NIGHT TWENTY-SIX: This one felt maybe just a little bit too eager to shock for its own good. I appreciated the empathetic approach that it took to its protagonist, and the way that life in the online sex industry (and to an extent any kind of social media influencer job) wears on the soul. But there was just that extra edge of sensationalism (is anyone paying cam models to fake suicide?) in addition to the way it ignored a lot of the real-life struggles (especially with payments and banking) that kept it from hitting that next level for me.
