HOOPTOBER ORIGINS 2.0 NIGHT THIRTY-ONE: The last and definitive worst of the Psycho film series proper. I guess it's appropriate that this one is actually a Showtime original movie, and more of an anthology loosely connected by Anthony Perkins making some especially incriminating phone calls to a psychology radio show. We get multiple flashbacks to Olivia Hussey as his mother, indoctrinating a young Henry Thomas into the life of a serial killer, and ultimately what we're left with is that the police should have had way more of an idea of what the fuck was going on at the Bates house at least two decades prior to the events of Psycho and the other two sequels.
