𝖍𝖔𝖔𝖕𝖙𝖔𝖇𝖊𝖗 𝖝 𝖓𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖗𝖙𝖞-𝖔𝖓𝖊: The John Carradine Dracula manages to be a lot more of a presence in this one than in HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN, but he still gets dispatched disappointingly early in the proceedings, so we never quite get the Dracula/Frankenstein face-off/team-up that these movies seem to be building towards. It's kind of wild that Chaney Jr.'s Wolf Man ends up being the de-facto hero of these movies, which I guess kind of makes him (along with the various versions of Jekyll & Hyde, to be sure) a rough-draft version of Bruce Banner/The Hulk, both in terms of his seeming indestructibility as well as his sad-sack reluctance to turn into the very monster we all paid money to see.
