FLOPUARY #20: There's a lot of puzzling creative decisions in this movie, but at minimum it's a much more competent spy spoof than Leonard Part 6 (faint praise I know) that reminded me a bit of what Mike Myers pulled off with the first AUSTIN POWERS. I do wish the tone had been a bit more consistent instead of splitting the difference between the wholly appropriate Jay Ward-style narration and the less-apt '80s action-comedy direction, but I give the screenwriters credit for trying something with the formula. There's also the issue of how they managed the dead-on perfect casting of Sally Kellerman as Natasha, but still paired her with Dave Thomas, who seems to be barely even trying either an accent or characterization as Boris. This could have just been a movie about Kellerman's Natasha on her own and it would have been equally entertaining.
