HOOPTOBER 3.0 NIGHT EIGHTEEN: Extremely dopey attempt at rebooting both the Alien/Predator franchises that thankfully didn't kill them both off for good. I enjoy Sanaa Lathan's turn as an xenomorph-fighter so fierce that even a Predator has to give her props, but basically everything else about this movie is so crushingly dumb and early-aughts CGI fakey that it's hard to engage with on the same level as even the weaker Alien sequels, let alone the outright action-cheese silliness of Predator 2.
