毛皮里的维纳斯 - 评论

HOOPTOBER 3.0 NIGHT TWENTY-EIGHT: Feels almost like more of an arthouse erotic thriller than a true horror, save for the supernatural revenge setup. The theme song is kind of a loungey banger, and Jess Franco clearly agreed because it comes up on the soundtrack every 20 minutes or so after every kill. I think I might need to rewatch this one to get a better appreciation of the episodic structure, in some respects it has the same kind of iterative "leveling up" feeling as other quasi-artsy genre flicks of the time like El Topo or Game of Death, and it might be fun to compare it to those more directly.
