夜半鬼敲门3 - 评论

ℍ𝕆𝕆ℙ𝕋𝕆𝔹𝔼ℝ 𝔼𝕃𝔼𝕍𝔼ℕ ℕ𝕀𝔾ℍ𝕋 𝔼𝕀𝔾ℍ𝕋𝔼𝔼ℕ: Outside of the involvement of Sean S. Cunningham, Harry Manfredini, and KNB EFX Group with this movie, there is very little to connect this on even a conceptual level to the previous two HOUSE films, to the extent that it feels almost like a HALLOWEEN III-type attempt to turn the series into a straight-up anthology franchise. Although the idea of a face-off between Lance Henriksen and Brion James (androids from two different Ridley Scott franchises!) sounds promising on paper, I found the whole thing to be pretty tedious and unpleasant. Part of me wonders if the whole production was designed as a deliberate fuck-you to Wes Craven: Not only does it pretty blatantly rip off A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (with James doing a frankly meh take on the wisecracking supernatural killer archetype) but it also manages to steal the basic premise (if not execution) of Craven's SHOCKER, which came out about six months later.
