MANNVANUARY FOUR: Although it's clearly a TV production with a made-for-TV budget rather than a "real" movie-movie, Peckinpah gets a great performance out of Robards, as a man whose whole life goes straight to hell after a moment of impulsive righteous violence. Would love to see a remake with some real production values behind it, although it's hard to see how this might be expanded for a full feature length film.
