HOOPTOBER 4.0 NIGHT TWENTY-EIGHT: Like Strickland's BERBERIAN SOUND STUDIO, a movie that I respected a bit more than I actually liked. The vibes here feel a lot like Peter Greenaway by way of Yorgos Lanthimos, but the thing I like about their films is that I always feel like there's an artful metaphor just under the surface, whereas FLUX GOURMET just felt sort of willfully opaque.
