a review of 魔弦传说

This one took a little while to get going for me, but I thought it paid off nicely. I feel like perhaps a little more could have been done to build up the villains, but I appreciated the attention given to the main characters. The animators got a range of emotions in the models that I've never quite seen in stop motion, which made some of the more nuanced bits (like the mother's mental state at the beginning) work in a way that they wouldn't have in something less technically accomplished.
