2019 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 4: SHAW BROTHERS WEEK Wow, this one was excellent. I was actually surprised when the movie ended, because I could have done with maybe an additional hour of San Te teaching Shaolin Kung Fu to the misfit tradesmen of his town before the big showdown. But ultimately it wasn't necessary and would have distracted from the brilliant physical performance given by Gordon Liu. My knowledge of Shaw Bros films is pretty limited, mostly whatever I happened across in college. But now that I know Netflix has a bunch of them, I'm highly inclined to check more of them out.
