2019 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 9: DARIO ARGENTO WEEK After seeing a handful of Argento movies that all revolved around younger female protagonists, I was surprised to note this one's middle-aged male lead. Even though it teams him with a female reporter for added sexual tension, it never quite becomes a true screwball mystery and instead feels a lot more like the slashers that it influenced later. Worth seeing for the unique camerawork and visuals, and the completely crazoid plot.
