a review of 雷霆沙赞！

A lot of fun for reasons* that are barely even hinted at in the trailers. Not every bit of it comes together as satisfyingly as I might have wanted, but overall I came out feeling very positive about this as a continuing DC franchise going forward. (*Reasons like diversity! With the exception of the main character, this is almost as inclusively cast as the "other" Captain Marvel movie that the boycottbros are whining about. I could have done with some meatier subplots with more agency for the female characters -- one of whom frankly gets left hung out to dry in Act 2 -- but at the very least there's a chance for more and better in Shazam! 2.)
