2019 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 28: 80S TEEN MOVIE WEEK It's weird seeing this one for the first time after watching a bunch of later teen movies, just because it was such a huge influence. It feels maybe a bit basic in terms of plot, but the easygoing, slice of life approach works well here. I'm not certain if the way I feel about some of the characters now is the way that people were intended to feel about them back in the day, but overall I appreciate how all of the kids (except for maybe Mike Damone) are treated as basically okay, and muddling through as best they can.
