2019 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 45: Full Moon Entertainment Week Like another Albert Pyun movie I can name (It rhymes with "Blaptain Blamerica") pretty much all of the most exciting, special effects heavy stuff in this movie happens in the first reel, whereupon the hero is suddenly transported to our world and all of the more economical production values that entails. Even though we're told that the title character has been shrunk down to the size of a toy, we almost never actually see him interacting with the larger world, including the other actors. My sense is that Tim Thomerson shot most of his scenes in the space of a day, and maybe never actually met either of his costars (Kamala Lopez as the tough single mom, and Jackie Earle Haley as the gang leader) during filming.
