2022 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 28: TOD BROWNING WEEK + PODCAST MACABRE 2022 HORROR CHALLENGE: #7. From the 1930s you have not seen before The fact that Tod Browning and Bela Lugosi teamed up to make an obvious derivative cash-in on DRACULA (1931), that also doubles as kind of a dry satirical take-off of the original movie, is not *quite* enough to overcome the fact that it's still just a 40-minute DRACULA pastiche with a fairly silly 20-minute murder mystery tacked onto the end. But it's fun for what it is, and Lugosi gets a funny bit at the end.
