HOOPTOBER NINE! NIGHT EIGHT! Extremely listless and dour "thriller" consisting mainly of sterile talking-head exposition, interspersed with the filmmakers' attempt at tense interpersonal drama. Although it seems pretty clear that Meeker's character is intended as the smart leader/moral anchor type that tends to show up in movie's of this type, as the film drags on he's weirdly passive to the point of unresponsive, making it hard to root for him. Which is a shame, because outside of him there's barely a mid-grade episode of Twilight Zone here, let alone a feature film.
