a review of 八恶人

Wife's out of town, Jesse's out of town, I had the night to myself and decided now's as good a time as any to sit down and sink 3-and-some-odd hours into watching the extended version (I'd not yet seen either cut). I tried washing away my general distaste for latter day Tarantino as best I could before starting so as to go into this with as open a heart and mind as possible. Folks, I tried, but this just wasn't for me. A plodding, abysmal experience from stew to nuts.
