Generally speaking, I can take or leave Zendaya, I think the two main dudes look like huge dweebs, the trailer did absolutely nothing for me, and I only pretty much care about tennis if it's on the Dreamcast. But because I love Guadagnino's last few movies as much as I do, I felt like I owed it to the guy to show up, support the arts, and give back to him for giving me so much over the past few years. Folks, I'm really glad I went, because Luca's done it again! What an exhilarating, twisted tale of friendship, obsession, and drive. Those dweebs? Weirdly lovable in their own way! Zendaya? A pretty fantastic performance! Tennis? Advantage Guadagnino! Proud of you, Luke!
