a review of 不羁夜

I've seen this many times, but this was the first time I noticed a few Scotty J. moments happening in the background, like him reaching out to grab Dirk's hands or congratulate him with a high five or hug and Dirk just always leaves him hanging. Saw it this time with my wife and my good friend (two different people) on 70mm in a theatre with 240 others and not a single person chuckled or snorted when Scotty J. proclaims over and over that he's "a fucking idiot" (it's not a time for anything but heartbreak); so so thankful for that. Cried at Dirk coming back to Jack at the end as is the usual. What a film! This is cinema!
