a review of 黑暗之外

A great Goblin score runs under some delightfully gore-ific moments that include taxidermy, cremation, limb removal, and pasta eating. There's a charming lack of exposition which allowed my mind to run wild with theories as to what was happening and what was going to happen next. Afterward, my good friend Jesse suggested that it could work as a silent film, and I don't disagree with that at all. After sleeping on it, I gave it 3.5 Stars, but after writing this, I'm going with 4.
