a review of 木兰花

I haven't seen Magnolia in a very long time and I wondered if it held up, given that I loved it so so much in my late teens and throughout my 20s (I used to have the shooting script and would read it for comfort) but I just haven't been back in a while. Still packed a good punch for me, especially since I don't think I've seen it since either my dad or PSH died (I simply hold them both in equal regard!), so all of the Earl and nurse Phil stuff just wrecked me. I wouldn't mind seeing PTA get Cruise in another movie, but I have a feeling that maybe won't happen because of The Master, but what do I know? Anyway, felt good.
