I'm at the rom-com. I'm at the slasher film. I'm at the combination rom-com and slasher film. The rom-com aspects work on the level of any Hallmark holiday movie that there ever was. This is no better or worse than any instance where Lacey Chabert unexpectedly finds love at the most inconvenient time in her life and yet it somehow works out in the end. The slasher aspects work on the level of any 90's/2000's horror film that there might have been. A few good kills, but the reveal is a big eye-roll. Despite a few chuckles here and there, this is two mixed tastes that taste bland together.
