I don't really know that I've totally bought into Jack Quaid, but he was good in this. The movie is dumb fun, but I feel like it's being released at least two months too late. I got some Reindeer Games (2000) vibes from it, but this is better? I'm not suggesting this was like a retelling of Reindeer Games (!), just that Novocaine has a whiff of Games is all.
