Munich is 2 hours 45 minutes long but it doesn't feel like it, even though it's fairly straightforward. After a pretty intense opening, there are some suspenseful moments, but those give way to relief rather quickly because, despite the subject, Spielberg is more interested in finding glimpses of humanity than being consumed by darkness, or becoming too clinical with breaking down how the operation unfolded; such is a Spielberg film. (I guess in that sense, he's kinda like the antidote to David Fincher?) I was torn between 3.5 and 4, but I'm going with 4 because it is a rather good movie, looks beautiful, is well acted, and I liked watching these dudes hang out.
