a review of 黄金屋

There's a really good version of this movie that exists in my head where the three main characters end up offing each other and the landscaper is left just sitting in his chair looking around in awe of everything that just happened and he gets to walk away with all the money. Instead, this is the version of the movie we've been given and the landscaper dies in a way that probably would've played for a cheap chuckle 10 or so years ago but now seems mean spirited and out of place, but maybe that's the whole point.
