Having never seen Robert Altman's The Long Goodbye, but having seen a number of other Altman flicks, I'm only partially qualified to make the following statement: This is absolutely what I'd imagine a movie made by Robert Altman would be like if he was Japanese; it's as if I've heard the cover of a song before hearing the original. This was pretty good. Justice for Crystal Beauty!
