Muriel moves from a small village to the big city of Brussels, hoping to start an independent life working as a museum guide. She rents a room from Laura, who has a room to spare now that her mother is in hospital. Laura is a vital and candid woman who has a child-wish but leads a very chaotic life. Meanwhile, Muriel's mother has a hard time accepting that her daughter leads a life of her own now, and she also faces some changes at the factory where she works. The movie follows the interconnected lifes of these three women of three different generations, who all face different problems.

Tully Coates, Jr., with his good looks and chiseled body, is the local heartthrob, and while he has a new girlfriend virtually every night, he's incapable of getting close to anyone. His younger brother Earl, the shy and sensitive type, frequents the local revival house. The only common bond between these disparate siblings is Ella Smalley, an intelligent and even-tempered young woman who returns to their Nebraska hometown to intern at a local veterinarian's clinic. Meanwhile, their father, Tully, Sr., a rancher who gets by with the help of his two sons, carries a brooding sadness, a hint of past wounds too long in healing. The family dynamic is changed forever when several secrets surface.

On the night before Christmas, encounters with monsters and misfortunes will have some people running for their lives and others landing on the "Naughty" list.

　　法国导演Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre(《纯真曲》《追忆似水年华》)执导并同Mona Fastvold(《战前童年》《梦游者》)和Brock Norman Brock(《国境卫士》《布朗森》)编写剧本，已于内华达开拍。修奈尔饰演一名暴力罪犯Roman Coleman，得到了参与一项康复治疗程序的机会，其中包括训练野蛮的野马。斯图沃特饰演Coleman的狱友，萨兰登饰演监狱的治疗专家，艾朵饰演Coleman的女儿。

Waving the flag that states every film is political, Vincent Carelli visibilizes in this documentary the cause of the Guarani-Kaiowá: a group of indigenous people that fear their lands, located in the Mato Grosso do Sul, will be confiscated by the State. A territorial conflict born more than one hundred years ago, during the Paraguay war. While fighting against the Brazilian Congress in order not to be evicted from their homes, the 50.000 indigenous people demand the demarcation of the space that belongs to them. With some rigorous investigative work, the Brazilian director tells with his own voice of the social and political injustices suffered by the Guarani people through material he filmed over the course of more than forty years. The archive images, both color and black and white, reveal the crudeness with which they coexist every day: among the violation of their civil rights and the guts with which they confront the usurpers.

Ein verheirateter Mann mit drei Freundinnen scheitert an seinen Rollenvorstellungen, während seine Frau und eine Geliebte, beide schwanger, sich solidarisieren. Die unnatürlich klingenden Dialoge und optischen Verfremdungen sind zwar streckenweise wirkungsvoll, erschweren aber insgesamt dem Zuschauer eine Identifikation mit den dargestellten Charakteren. In seiner Tendenz ist der Film zu plakativ.

'Bombay Beach' is a poetic film on a possible apocalypse. After man detonates an H bomb on a megalopolis, we follow his lonesome wanderings, as well as those of a woman. They are among the few survivors of the cataclysm, seeking a way out of this strange and beautiful hell. They will eventually never meet, as they have to face a major aftermath: the bomb has disturbed the basic rules of nature, and their old world now seems to escape the rules of space-time. They live in a quantum universe, where ubiquity and teleportation are admitted, and their continual coming and going in the rubble and ruins of the city will find no end.
