En parte también porque sus imágenes, muchas de ellas extremas, expresan un sentido del tiempo, de la composición y del color que se sitúan en las antípodas de lo que consumimos día a día en el cine y la televisión. Pero sobre todo porque debido a lo inesperado de las formas y relaciones de los objetos que aborda (monos de zoológico, salas de espera de hospitales públicos, un reportero de provincia, sitios del suceso de crímenes y suicidios, turistas en un salar desértico, éxtasis religioso de penitentes), es el espectador el que debe construir su propia película a través de lo que ve y escucha. NOTICIAS es una experiencia cinematográfica en todo el sentido de la palabra.
