Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson investigate the disappearance of a champion racehorse, Silver Blaze. The horse disappeared in the middle of the night from its stables and with a major race on the horizon its owner, Colonel Ross, is desperate to get his prize possession back. There had been some strange comings and goings the night the horse disappeared including a race tout trying to get inside information on the upcoming race. Soul Music is a seven-part animated television adaptation of the book of the same name by Terry Pratchett, produced by Cosgrove Hall, and first broadcast on 12 May 1997. It was the first film adaptation of an entire Discworld novel. The series soundtrack was also released on CD, but the disc is now out of production. The soundtrack is, however, now available through iTunes.
