The details of the soundtrack album for Illumination Entertainment’s animated feature The Super Mario Bros. Movie have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Crazy Rich Asians, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Yellowstone) with original Nintendo themes written by Koji Kondo. Also included is the song Peaches co-written and performed by Jack Black (as Bowser) and Ali Dee’s version of the Mario Brothers Rap. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 7 by Back Lot Music. iam8bit will release a CD, vinyl and cassette edition. The Super Mario Bros. Movie is directed by Aaron Horvath & Michael Jelenic and features the voices of Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Black, Seth Rogen, Keegan-Michael Key, Kevin Michael Richardson, Fred Armisen and Sebastian Maniscalco. The animated movie follows Brooklyn plumbers Mario & Luigi who are transported down a mysterious pipe while working underground to fix a water main and wander into a magical new world, where they get separated. The film is being released in theaters nationwide today by Universal Pictures.

Paramount Music will release the official soundtrack album for the slasher sequel Scream VI. The album features the film’s original score composed by Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron) & Sven Faulconer (Blood Father, The Elephant Whisperers, The Last Ice). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 10. Scream VI is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett and stars Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Courteney Cox, Hayden Panettiere, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jack Champion, Dermot Mulroney, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Josh Segarra, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori and Samara Weaving. The movie follows the four survivors of the events in last year’s Tyler-scored Scream sequel as they leave Woodsboro and start a fresh chapter in New York. The film is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Paramount Pictures.

The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians, ) & Breton Vivian (Yellowstone, Redeeming Love, Five Feet Apart). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 10 by Sony Classical. A first track (1923 Opus) by Tyler has previously been released as a digital single and a second volume featuring more music from Season 1 is expected to come out in a couple of weeks. 1923 is created by Taylor Sheridan and stars Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford, Darren Mann, Timothy Dalton, Michelle Randolph, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Brandon Sklenar, Julia Schlaepfer, Isabel May and Jerome Flynn. The period drama, which introduces a new generation of Duttons, made its debut in December and new episodes are currently premiering every Sunday on Paramount+. A second season just been ordered earlier this week.
