故事梗概：

一群儿时的玩伴在而立之年再次聚集在小时候一起野营的塔马科瓦。野营地的管理者被他们亲切地称为卢伯伯。虽然多年没见面，但老友想见也是分外亲热。

卢伯伯把男女分了宿舍，这愁坏了带着女友戈文一起来的杰米。以前的营员马修和凯丽已经成了夫妻并且有了两个孩子，但凯丽知道马修在原来野营时一直喜欢詹尼弗，而和她同屋的詹尼弗现在正是独身一人。迟到的贝丝和杰克是比较古怪的两位。贝丝曾是野营地的跑步冠军，她的丈夫去世后一直守寡，而杰克是当年唯一被赶出野营地的营员，大家都不知道其中的原因。

营地的8日休假生活开始了，一切还照老样子，卢伯伯每天早上敲钟叫大家起床，大家在晚上跑到厨房偷吃东西。此外他们游泳、跑步、看小时候的录像带，接受卢伯伯的教导。当卢伯伯提出他即将关闭野营地的时候，他们都非常惋惜，有的人还提出可以接管或投资。

一晚，杰米、杰克和马修跑到女生宿舍，杰米找到了戈文，杰克和贝丝单独相处，而詹尼弗和马修似乎要重温往日的恋情，卢伯伯的出现阻止了他们即将犯下的错误。

詹尼弗向凯丽道歉说自己因为不习惯野营的悠闲生活而有些寂寞。戈文和杰米反目因为杰米对她想要孩子的想法毫不热衷。杰克说出了自己被赶走的原因，卢伯伯那一年没有录用一个前来应征的黑人，这让他觉得卢不是一个平等待人的人，并偷走了他年轻时的拳击比赛奖杯。

几天的假期终于结束了，每个人都即将踏上回归的旅程，人们这时发现杰克和贝丝不见了，卢伯伯返回时，二人决定接管野营地，一起经营这个他们儿时的快乐园。而卢伯伯的桌上出现了他丢失多年的拳击奖杯。

精彩视点：

美国试金石电影公司1993年出品的喜剧片。拍摄地点位于加拿大安大略的阿尔岗昆省立公园，也正是影片所要再现的野营地。这里风景优美，还有不时出现的驯鹿。几位主演虽不出名但很眼熟，比如扮演杰克的比尔·帕克斯顿就曾在《真实谎言》、《阿波罗13》、《泰坦尼克》、《U-571》等影片中出演重要的配角。

FX宣布现代西部警匪剧《释罪》（Justified）将于3月16日播出。
该剧是根据根据2001年Elmore Leonard撰写的小说《Fire In The Hole》改编，讲述美国联邦执法官Raylan Givens（Timothy Olyphant扮演）使用传统方法来解决现代案件的故事。「Justified」这个名字有一定的宗教含义，在神学上指「上帝把人从与滔天罪行相连的惩罚中解脱出来」。
