1971 film by Metin Erksan

Seven friends living in the same neighborhood with different aims form a gang to rob gas stations in pursuit of their shared desire for money. The film serves as a critique of the socio-economic situation of Türkiye and the approach to the "American Dream" in the period of time before May 27th.

Hayriye is afraid of the future. Every day, while waiting for his beloved Ali to return from fishing on the long wooden pier, she disappears one day; it is Ali' turn to wait.

No signs of life. A man at the train station cuts his way through the passengers standing still as if time stopped.

Three men live in an abandoned building and try to eke out a living by pooling their meagre resources. They come upon a lonely blind girl one night, befriend her, and take her in as their guest, pretending they are rich. They learn that 800 lira will cure her blindness. One of the three decides to get the money by any means necessary, because he has fallen in love with her.
