CD 2的曲目则是莫扎特钢琴奏鸣曲、土耳其进行曲、F大调小品的四则钢琴选段。莫扎特奏鸣曲同时也是正在进行的郎朗世界巡演的曲目。

肖邦的作品，因其美感与表现力而被世人所钟爱。肖邦的音乐，也一直是郎朗生活中长久的动力，在他音乐事业的许多关键时刻激励着他。值郎朗30周岁之际，其首张致力于肖邦钢琴独奏杰作的专辑问世。
郎朗的新专辑《肖邦》，既包括了《练习曲 作品25号》、《纯朴的行板与华丽大波兰舞曲》，也挑选了他自己十分喜爱的较短曲目，如三首《夜曲》和广为熟知的《华尔兹 作品64号》（又名“小狗圆舞曲”或“一分钟圆舞曲”）。

肖邦陪伴着郎朗经历了他音乐事业的每一个阶段。郎朗最初学习弹奏的曲目之一便是《辉煌大圆舞曲作品 18号：降E大调第1号》（收录于专辑中）。1994年德国埃特林根的比赛及1995年的柴可夫斯基国际钢琴比赛中，郎朗凭借演奏肖邦的作品夺魁。更是因郎朗年仅14岁时在北京音乐厅独奏的肖邦叙事曲，成就了他日后于费城柯蒂斯音乐学院师从院长加里·格拉夫曼的学习生涯。
郎朗说：“肖邦的练习曲之所以对于钢琴家们如此重要，是因为不同的钢琴演奏技法都能在曲目中得到训练。但练习曲又不只是单纯手指的训练，它还可以锻炼思维，帮助演奏时不同层次情感的控制。”
配合专辑发行，一部表现肖邦作为郎朗音乐事业“密友”的DVD短片《我与肖邦》也将发布。短片内容涵盖郎朗1994至1996年少年时期的音乐会与比赛视频，以及近两年在维也纳、柏林、伦敦演奏肖邦各部作品的完整录像。专辑数字版将于10月22日同步上线。
