Macy, BiBi and Chelsea, are young fashion models who have signed on to shoot a commercial. To meet with the theme “Youth and Death”, the director suggests shooting the commercial at their boss, Mr King’s ancestral home on the East Dragon Island. King’s great-grandfather had once been a vampire and put under a spell in his family grave on the island. The girls are busy partying and shooting at the beach. Little do they know that the old vampire is awakened and three other people on the island had been bitten and are turning into vampires.

上世纪七十年代，曾经荣誉无数，风光无限的电影明星谭冠希（曾志伟 饰），随着年龄的增长，逐渐江河日下，进入了事业的低潮。但他依旧不改风流的本性，竟同时与三名空姐拍拖，令一直对他不离不弃的女经纪人小云倍受冷落。
由于经济上的压力，小云为冠希招收了5位徒弟，教他们如何成为明星，实际上只是为了骗他们的钱。而这5人不知其中原由，对冠希言听计从。
一天，一位美丽性感的女孩儿闯进了冠希的家里，原来她就是冠希失散多年的女儿宝珠（孟瑶 饰）。

吴彦祖凭借此片拿下香港电影金像奖新晋导演奖。

A private detective is drawn into a complex murder mystery when he is hired to track down a missing young woman.

警方卧底因为演技太差，被黑帮老大识破并杀害。处长（许鞍华 饰）决定寻找警界里最有表演欲的警员到演艺学院学习演技。连sir（许绍雄 饰）找到了极具表演欲的陈文龙（詹瑞文 饰），委以重任。文龙十分热爱演戏，他有一个恋爱7年的女友Judy（叶璇 饰），但两人貌合神离。跟文龙一样是插班生的单丹（蔡卓妍 饰）是一个三级片女星，她的身份被很多人歧视，但仍然坚持学好演技。同时文龙也因为他夸张的演技受到侧目。
单丹与文龙二人可谓同病相怜，也因此成为了好友。满以为自己的演技已有所提高，文龙接受了上司安排的行动，但终告失败了。他也被上司勒令退学了，之后他得到了高人（黄秋生 饰）的指点，真正了解了演戏的真谛。

一个草根阶层在街市奋斗的故事。阿妙（杨千嬅）决心解脱，还清父亲欠下的债务后，重新生活。她与另一个“卖鱼佬”（陈奕迅）不打不相识到后来一起为着生活奔波，到后来互生情愫，来来回回，事事变迁过了10年的时间。
期间他们失去联系过，缘分还是把他们拉回了彼此的生活，他还是像以前一样关心她的生活。她对他深藏的感情也渐渐浮出水面。
