Motown: The Musical tells the real story of Motown Records' founder, Berry Gordy, who founded the record label in April 1960. A high school drop-out, Berry sought 'instant fame' during his youth via a short-lived boxing career before finding his true talents in the music industry.

Both Berry and Motown Record's incredible list of talent includes Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, and Marvin Gaye, amongst many others! Mowtown tells the tale behind the hits as Smokey finds his unique voice, Diana skyrockets to stardom and Berry fights against the odds to turn his improbable dream into a triumphant reality.

In May 1921, Shuffle Along, a new musical conceived by Flournoy Miller and Aubrey Lyles with music and lyrics by Eubie Blake and Noble Sissle, became the unlikeliest of hits, significantly altering the face of the Broadway musical as well as that of New York City.

This production presents both the 1921 musical itself, and additionally details the events that catalyzed the songwriting team of Noble Sissle and Eubie Blake, and librettists F.E. Miller and Aubrey Lyles to create this ground-breaking work.

In a cramped apartment hanging off the side of Times Square, 17-year-old Ali is desperate to get her piece of the New York dream. Ali’s mother is just as determined to protect her daughter from the same mistakes she made. When Ali falls for a talented young drummer, both mother and daughter must face hard truths about race, defiance, and growing up. Ali feels trapped, until the sound of a neighbor playing piano opens the door to an unexpected friendship and a radically different future.
