A band of medieval mercenaries take revenge on a noble lord who decides not to pay them by kidnapping the betrothed of the noble's son. As the plague and warfare cut a swathe of destruction throughout the land, the mercenaries hole up in a castle and await their fate.

In a small town in the Basque country, Lucas and Maria are an elderly brother and sister. They share a house with their memories and the ghosts of the people they have loved throughout their lifes. They know that sooner or later they will buy their ticket for their final journey. Marcos and Roma are young and alone. She's a nurse and paints windows that embellish the views from her room. Tango Feroz: la leyenda de Tanguito (Spanish: Wild tango: the legend of Tanguito) is a 1993 Argentine movie blockbuster, freely based in the life of Tanguito, one of the first artists of Argentine rock ("Tanguito" is just a stage name, nor the artist or the movie are related with Tango music). Fernan Mirás and Cecilia Dopazo, unknown by the main public by that point, had the lead roles and became famous after the movie, directed by Marcelo Piñeyro. It was the most successful movie in Argentina at the year of its release.
The movie deals with Tanguito's drug addiction, his love for Mariana, his friendship with Mauricio "Moris" Birabent, his madness and death.
The movie does not include any of the songs written by the real Tanguito, such as La Balsa, as Piñeyro could not acquire the rights for doing so. In turn, it uses many other old songs of Argentine Rock. Ulises Butrón sang the hit "El amor es más fuerte" (Spanish: Love is stronger), in the scenes played by Mirás as the singer.

Las Palabras de Max ("The Words of Max", sometimes translated as "What Max Said") is a 1978 Spanish film directed by Emilio Martínez Lázaro. It tells the story of a man who feels disconnected from people around him.
Emilio Martínez-Lázaro (born 1945) is a Spanish film director famous for such films as The Other Side of the Bed and His Master's Voice.
Spanish filmmaker Emilio Martínez-Lázaro's first association with cinema came when he joined the Escuela de Argüelles, a group of independent filmmakers. He made his first short film, Circunstancias del Milagro/The Circumstances of the Miracle, in 1968; re-edited in 1972 and retitled El Camino del Cielo/The Road to Heaven, it was shown at several international film festivals. He made his first feature, Pastel de Sangre/Blood Cake, in 1971. Martínez-Lázaro entered the television industry in 1974, directing episodes of numerous television series, and since then has continued to work in both venues. Martínez-Lázaro's 1978 film Las Palabras de Max/What Max Said shared a Golden Bear at that year's Berlin Film Festival with García Sánchez's La Trucha/The Trout. In addition to directing, Martínez-Lázaro has established himself as a noted screenwriter.

Based on a novel by one of the greater Spanish writers of the 20th century (Miguel Delibes), "La Guerra de Papá" (Dad's War) tells the story of a typical day for a 3-year-old boy in 1964. The little boy, played by Lolo García, spends his day running around playing with his 5-year-old brother and interacting with the adults in the household (mother, servants...). Through his innocent eyes we see a portrait of Spanish society in the 60's (with its many conflicts and contradictions). The film is also a very good character study of the adults and of the boy himself, who feels jealous because he is no longer the youngest child in the house, since he has a 1-year-old sister.

Las Truchas ("Trouts") is a 1978 Spanish film directed by José Luis García Sánchez. It satirizes middle class society under the rule of Franco via a story about the annual dinner of a fishing club whose members eat rotten trout while refusing to accept that there is a problem with it.[1] The film was entered into the 28th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Golden Bear.
