《速度与激情11》(或者说《速激10》下半部)定下导演，继续由《速激10》的路易斯·莱特里尔继续执导。
莱特里尔在《速激10》已经开拍、原导演林诣彬退出的情况下接手了该片，据称环球影业总裁彼得·克莱默对他的表现印象深刻。
