《男子高中生的日常》以真田北男校为舞台，围绕着主角忠邦（入野自由 配音），以及他的死党秀则（杉田智和 配音）和吉竹（铃村健一 配音）的日常高中生活而展开。忠邦主要担任吐槽的角色，长相中性的他常常被秀则和吉竹联合欺负。登场人物还有同校学生会的元治、唐泽、副会长和会长等人，这是一群基本上没有女朋友的男校学生，在鲜有女生参与的情况下，展开了插科打诨的日常高中生活。
这是一部搞笑向的作品，内容短小，笑点十足。动画以每集一个小故事的节奏，采用“男子高中生与XX”的标题形式，将男子高中生的爆笑日常故事呈现给观众。
本作根据山内泰延的同名漫画《男子高中生的日常》改编而成。

High schoolers Mitsuha and Taki are complete strangers living separate lives. But one night, they suddenly switch places. Mitsuha wakes up in Taki’s body, and he in hers. This bizarre occurrence continues to happen randomly, and the two must adjust their lives around each other.

All Might and Deku accept an invitation to go abroad to a floating and mobile manmade city, called 'I-Island', where they research quirks as well as hero supplemental items at the special 'I-Expo' convention that is currently being held on the island. During that time, suddenly, despite an iron wall of security surrounding the island, the system is breached by a villain, and the only ones able to stop him are the students of Class 1-A.

Shouya Ishida starts bullying the new girl in class, Shouko Nishimiya, because she is deaf. But as the teasing continues, the rest of the class starts to turn on Shouya for his lack of compassion. When they leave elementary school, Shouko and Shouya do not speak to each other again... until an older, wiser Shouya, tormented by his past behaviour, decides he must see Shouko once more.
