#快讯 bates motel获得第二季续订#贝茨旅馆获得a&e电视台10集的第二季续订，本剧开播即成为电视台有史以来收视率最高的节目，获得预订也在情理之中。

该剧被称作希区柯克电影《惊魂记》（Psycho）的前传。
故事讲述了仍是少年的Norman （弗莱迪·海默 Freddie Highmore 饰）和哥哥（马克斯·希尔莱耶 Max Thieriot 饰）以及母亲（维拉·法米加 Vera Farmiga 饰）搬来小镇后进入当地高中就读。遇到了讨厌他的高中的大人物Richard（理查德·哈蒙 Richard Harmon 饰）和行为古怪但是充满激情的女孩Emma（奥莉薇·库克 Olivia Cooke 饰）。老师兼心理顾问Watson小姐（凯加·康勒·翠西 Keegan Connor Tracy 饰）曾给予他不少帮助。而Norman和母亲之前似乎存在着不一样的奇怪关系。Norman是怎样从一个善良懦弱的青年一步步堕落成臭名昭著的连环杀手的？

　　剧情重点讲述回到精神病院的Norman Bates又给放了出来(究竟要放他出来多少次啊！)并跟精神病院女医生结了婚，两口子生活美满，这一天Norman等待妻子下班庆祝他的生日，适逢电台正好播放著一个有关连续杀手及弑母病患的phone-in节目，促发他至电讲述自己跟母亲的关系，影片回朔到他的少年时期，如何谋杀母亲和其情夫，以及如何开始杀害其他人的过程，到后来，他向主持人表白了自己今天想杀掉妻子的想法，因为她有了自己的骨肉，而他却认定，疯狂是遗传的……

《贝茨旅馆》(Bates Motel)获得第4、5季预订，共20集，第5季2017年开播。

22年前，诺曼贝兹在自家的旅馆中，刺杀了正在淋浴的女房客玛莉莲，而被关进了精神病院，一关就是22年。如今，加州政府根据医生的诊断决定让他重回社会，他获释后，返回了山丘上的破旧旅馆。诺曼在当地一家餐馆中找到了新工作，担任厨师的助手，因此认识了年轻的女服务生玛丽，两人坠入了情网。但是不久后，诺曼却在自家的窗口，看到了死去的母亲，接下来，小镇上便发生了一连串的谋杀案，这些凶杀案会是诺曼的所作所为吗？他真的痊愈了吗？

本片由一位探长调查一间明星失踪案开始，分别阐述了四段围绕在一间老屋的恐怖故事。第一个故事讲述了一对夫妇搬来这间老屋，丈夫是位恐怖小说家，没想到笔下创造的恐怖人物竟然出现在现实生活了；第二个故事讲了一个退休的经纪人搬来这间屋子住，偶然发现小镇上有间蜡像馆，里面有一个叫“莎乐美”的蜡像有着动人的美貌，让他无法忘记，可是事情却越来越离奇；第三个故事讲了一位父亲带着女儿来到老屋，父亲请来了一位女家教教导女儿学习，后来女家教发现女儿和父亲各有蹊跷；第四个故事讲的是一个准备拍摄吸血鬼电影的明星搬来老屋，因为拍摄现场需要吸血鬼斗篷，他来到一家神秘的商店买了一件古老的斗篷，结果让他变成真正的吸血鬼。

Framing StoryDr Martin (Robert Powell) arrives at a secluded asylum "for the incurably insane" to be interviewed for a job by the wheelchair-using, authoritarian Dr Lionel Rutherford (Patrick Magee). Rutherford explains that he owes his current incapacitation to an attack by an inmate. Rutherford reveals his unorthodox plan to determine Martin's suitability for the post of head Doctor. One of the asylum's current inmates is Dr B. Starr, the former head doctor who underwent a complete mental breakdown. Martin is to interview the inmates of the asylum to deduce which one is Dr Starr. If his choice is correct Rutherford will "consider" him for the post.
The attendant Max Reynolds (Geoffrey Bayldon) admits Martin through the security door to the inmates' solitary confinement cells where he interviews each in turn.
"Frozen Fear"Bonnie (Barbara Parkins) recounts the plot to murder Ruth (Sylvia Sims), the wealthy wife of her lover Walter (Richard Todd). Ruth is a possessive heiress who studies voodoo, and this interest stands in the way of Bonnie and Walter being together.
"The Weird Tailor"Bruno (Barry Morse) recounts how poverty forced him to accept the unusual request of a Mr Smith (Peter Cushing) to produce an elaborate suit of clothing from a mysterious, scintillating, fabric that can animate anything, including the dead.
After learning what the suit will be used for, Bruno fights Smith and accidentally kills him. He returns with the unsold suit. His wife Anna (Anne Firbank) dresses their store mannequin in the suit and its true powers are revealed.
"Lucy Comes To Stay"The ebullient Barbara (Charlotte Rampling) informs Martin she has been in an asylum before. After her release from that asylum she was closely monitored at home by her brother George (James Villiers) and a nurse, Miss Higgins (Megs Jenkins). This frustrated existence is relieved when her mischievous friend Lucy (Britt Ekland) comes to visit.
"Mannikins of Horror"Finally Martin interviews Dr Byron (Herbert Lom) who holds Rutherford in deep contempt. Byron explains he is working towards soul transference with a small automaton whose head is a likeness of his own, and shows Martin several earlier models. Byron plans to "will" his mannequin to life, and explains the interior of the robot is organic, a miniaturised version of his own viscera. Martin concludes his interview and Max shows him downstairs to deliver his judgement to Rutherford.
Byron successfully brings his mannequin to life: it makes its way to Rutherford's office and kills him with a surgical knife. Then, Martin destroys the mannequin and seeks help from Max Reynolds, and Dr. Starr's true identity is revealed.

A patient at a mental hospital kills the head doctor and takes over, replacing the staff with fellow patients. Things get complicated when the niece of the real doctor makes an unexpected visit.
