为了追寻学长李永俊的脚步，韩国女孩崔素罗（允荷 饰）高中毕业后便来至日本求学。当她抵达位于长野的信浓大学时，却发现学长早已因某种原因赶回韩国。心上人不在的日子里，素罗专心学习影视制作，时刻期待学长回来成为她作品中的主角。不久，李永俊返日办理退学手续，素罗纯纯的暗恋无疾而终。适逢神藤老师（竹中直人 饰）布置作业，要求学生们拍摄感兴趣的人和事，素罗便将目标锁定在校内的工友松元茂（七代目市川染五郎 饰）身上来。
松元先生早年因负债而家庭破裂，他同时打着三份工，终日疲惫不堪。随着拍摄的进行，素罗渐渐触摸到这个失意中年男子可爱和真实的一面……

Takase works part-time as a motorcycle courier but plans to switch jobs the next day to become a drug courier with his friend Kono. His final delivery is to pick up original illustrations from an artist named Nana and deliver them to her publisher. However, when Takase arrives at the designated time, the illustrations aren't ready, forcing him to wait around for hours. The artwork is finally completed late at night. With the job done at last, Takase decides to go out for drinks with Nana. Just then, Kono joins them, and the three of them head out into the night.
