莎斯、洛珂和波拉是三个艳丽而性感的模特，从小就渴望嫁个百万富翁的狂热梦想让她们成了几乎行影不离的好朋友。为了实现这个愿望，三人合资租下丹蒙克的公寓后计划通过筹办婚姻联谊会来发现身价百万的富翁。
然而，三个月过去了，嫁个百万富翁的计划没有一个人实现。就在三人穷得靠变卖公寓里的家具来维持生活的时候，莎斯小姐带回一个叫杰迪的半老头子给她们带来了希望：从事养殖和石油业的杰迪邀请她们参加了全由富人出席的盛大酒会。

American-born Agnes Keith (Colbert) and her British husband Harry Keith (Patric Knowles) live a cushioned colonial life in North Borneo with their young son George in 1942. Keith is the only American in Sandakan. Worried about the rumors surrounding Japanese invasion, Harry asks Agnes if she would leave for the United States along with George. Agnes replies that she would sent George but not go herself. In the meantime, the Pearl Harbor attack takes place. Japanese soldiers led by Colonel Suga (Sessue Hayakawa) capture the place. Suga is fluent in English and has read a book on Borneo authored by Mrs. Keith. During the Japanese invasion of Sandakan, Agnes has a miscarriage. Europeans living there are moved to prison camps. Harry lives in the camp meant for men while George and Agnes live in another camp. After a few days, women and children are taken to another camp.
When Col. Suga is made in-charge of all the camps in the region he visits the one where Agnes lives and asks her to autograph a book's copy he had obtained from her house. Agnes does so. The camp guards are very cruel and oppressive. This is seen when they shoot a group of Australian men who tried to cross the wire fences. One of them attacks Agnes and she complains to Suga, who then asks Lieutenant Nekata to investigate in the matter. However, Agnes is not able to identify her assailant. Nekata again asks her to identify the assailant and after Agnes fails to do so he gives her a document to sign. She refuses to do so and is therefore tortured. In 1945 Japan surrenders and Suga's family dies in the Hiroshima bombing. He is arrested by Australian soldiers and the Keith family finally reunites.

An executive plans to fill a high-ranking position by interviewing the candidates' wives.

朱迪（莱斯利·卡伦 Leslie Caron 饰）自幼失去了父母，成长在孤儿院中。17岁那一年，朱迪写了一篇名为《忧郁的星期三》的文章，这篇文章吸引了孤儿院理事（弗雷德·阿斯泰尔 Fred Astaire 饰）的注意，理事在朱迪的身上发现了异于常人的文学天赋。理事匿名给朱迪写了一封信，告诉她他愿意资助她去大学深造，并且支持她完成成为一名作家的梦想，作为交换的条件，朱迪每个月都要给他写信汇报学习情况，朱迪答应了。
就这样，朱迪进入了大学校园开始了她的学习，因为不知道理事的真名，所以朱迪亲切的称呼他为长腿叔叔。一次偶然中，朱迪邂逅了贵族公子杰维，虽然朱迪不可自持的爱上了杰维，但她知道自己和杰维之间的差距实在太大，于是她选择将这份恋情隐藏在心底。

尚．尼古拉斯哥导演的音乐气息浓厚的爱情悲剧，琼．克劳福德与约翰．歌菲尔德在片中均有精彩演出。片中多段精彩的小提琴演奏由大师艾萨克史坦恩幕后操刀，对全片的哀怨气氛增色不少。
德国作曲家、指挥家韦克斯曼1947年为美国电影《银海香魂》编写了《卡门幻想曲》，这部作品充满了吉卜赛的风格和绚丽的色彩，并对演奏技巧要求极高，该片也获得了1947年奥斯卡最佳音乐奖提名。

玛利亚（玛姬·麦克娜玛拉 Maggie McNamara 饰）、安妮塔（简·皮特斯 Jean Peters 饰）和法兰西斯（桃乐茜·麦姬尔 Dorothy McGuire 饰）是在机缘巧合之下相遇于罗马的三位美国姑娘。在许愿池里，三人许下了各自的愿望，希望许愿池能够给她们的未来带来好运。
乔治（罗萨诺·布拉兹 Rossano Brazzi 饰）深深的爱慕着安妮塔，却因为自己拮据的经济状况而选择将这份爱慕深深的藏在心底。玛利亚一心想要攀附有钱的迪诺公爵（路易斯·乔丹 Louis Jourdan 饰），可是虽然她费尽心机，可毫无成效。弗兰西斯给著名作家山德威尔（克利夫顿·韦伯 Clifton Webb 饰）做了十五年的秘书，任谁都能看出她的心思，可是，当山德威尔终于决定接纳她时，却发现自己患上了绝症。

贝琳达（简·怀曼 Jane Wyman 饰）是出生在贫困家庭之中的农家女，天生又聋又哑，失去了一切和外界交流的途径。贝琳达的母亲在生她的时候因为难产而去世了，父亲因此将全部的责任都推卸到了无辜的贝琳达身上，对她不闻不问。好在还有一位善良的罗伯特医生（刘·艾尔斯 Lew Ayres 饰），他非常同情贝琳达的遭遇，热情的教给了她很多她的父亲从来不会教给她的人生道理。在罗伯特的帮助下，贝琳达渐渐懂得了如何与人交往。
一个流氓看上了贝琳达美丽的外貌，将她玷污了，不仅如此，贝琳达还怀上了流氓的孩子，可是人人都道这个孩子是罗伯特医生的。

Sophia Loren stars as Phaedra, a poor sponge diver on the lovely Greek isle of Hydra. While diving, she discovers an ancient brass and gold stature of a boy riding a dolphin, which is said to have the magical power to grant wishes. Her shiftless boyfriend wants to sell it to an unscrupulous art collector (Clifton Webb), but Phaedra wants to give it to anthropologist Jim Calder (Alan Ladd), who would return it to the Greek government.

乔治．史蒂文斯导演的此片长二百二十余分钟，堪称同一题材片之最，同时也是正面描写耶稣生平事迹的影片中投资最大之作。剧情讲述基督耶稣自出生至钉死十字架上的故事。影片场面颇为壮观，可惜节奏太慢，剧情的进展亦不够流畅，看来相当沉闷乏味。马克斯．冯．赛多、卡罗尔．贝克等大批影星出演了此片，均有不错表现。

A lawyer whose wife has had an affair sets out to leave her by flying to LA. He becomes ever more involved in the lives of a few fellow travelers on a journey that ends up showing him as much about himself as about the others.

The simple story is a trifle (as all of Francoise Sagan's novels are), dealing as it does with the subject of flirtation and affairs. The affair is between a pretty young law student studying at the Sorbonne, CHRISTINE CARRERE, and ROSSANO BRAZZI, her Uncle Luc who is married to the sophisticated JOAN FONTAINE. Christine is also being pursued by a fellow law student, BRADFORD DILLMAN, but seems to prefer Brazzi's continental charm to callow youth.
Most of the trite story centers on the budding romance between Brazzi and Carrere, leaving Fontaine on the sidelines wondering what the glances between the two really mean. Does it really matter? She gazes with sophisticated charm at Johnny Mathis as he sings "A Certain Smile", all the while knowing that her husband is a philanderer.

In 1875 London, young Wheeler, who lives by scavenging, finds a cameo of Queen Victoria which he thinks so beautiful he risks his life to save it. Possessed of a desire to see the Queen, he slips past the Beefeaters and wanders about Windsor Castle, just when a state dinner is in preparation. Meanwhile, prime minister Disraeli is struggling hard to persuade the Queen to end her long seclusion.
