친타(인도네시아어로 ‘사랑’이라는 뜻)는 전교생이 다 알 만큼 예쁘고 재능 있는 여학생이다. 교내 백일장에서도 다들 친타의 우승을 예상한다. 그러나 정작 우승의 영예는 아무도 존재를 몰랐던 랑가라는 남학생에게 돌아간다. 친타는 모든 면에서 자신과 다른 랑가가 궁금해지기 시작하고, 랑가에 대한 마음이 커질수록 친구들과의 관계는 점점 위태로워져 간다.
