Milk and Honey is the sixth and final album by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, released in 1984. It is the first posthumous release of new Lennon music, having been recorded in the last months of his life during and following the sessions for his 1980 album Double Fantasy.

Yoko Ono has announced a new album, Warzone. It’s out October 19 via Sean Ono Lennon’s co-run label collective Chimera Music.The project brings together 13 reimagined tracks from Ono’s catalog, ranging between 1970 and 2009. “I like to create things in a new way,” she said in a statement. “Every day things change.” See the cover art and tracklist below. The LP includes John Lennon’s 1971 hit “Imagine.” Last year, Ono received a songwriting credit for the song from the National Music Publishers Association.
Ono’s last studio album was 2013’s Take Me to the Land of Hell (with the Plastic Ono Band). Last year, she reissued three albums: Fly, Approximately Infinite Universe, and Feeling the Space.

At the time of its release, this duo album by John Lennon and Yoko Ono gained its greatest notice for its cover, a photograph that depicted the two standing before the camera naked. The recording, too, can be described as naked, in that it contains no music that would interfere with one's ability to hear the normal sounds of life. The record is not unlike what you might get if you turned on a tape recorder for a random half hour in your home ?snatches of inaudible conversation far away from the microphone, footsteps, wind, etc. Conceptual "music" in the Cageian sense, yes, but not popular music of the kind with which John Lennon had been previously associated in any sense at all. Recorded in 2011 at Manhattan's Sear Sound, the album features lead vocals by Yoko, with backing vocals & guitars by Kim & Thurston. It's a wild collision of song-form, poetics, free-rock & classic glossolalic ecstasy. Yoko has not allowed herself to sound this raw since the earliest recordings of the Plastic Ono Band. There's a remarkably empathic & comfortable quality to the sound. The 3 communicate as though they'd been playing together forever.

Walking on Thin Ice is a greatest-hits compilation of Yoko Ono's work from 1971 to 1985. It was released by Rykodisc in 1992, along with the more comprehensive 6-disc Onobox set. The booklet includes an essay by Yoko, pieces from her book Grapefruit, and quotes about Ono from artists such as David Bowie, Eric Clapton and Cyndi Lauper.
